Ep. 024 - The gender dropdown discussion

November 15, 2018

I wish we could say we were sorry for the click bait, but one of the topics we covered tonight was the dropdown menu for gender. You will have to listen to the episode to hear how we covered it, but trust us... it is something worthy of discussion. We also discussed how our combined journalistic talents are on par with the rest of the world of tech news, in our humble opinions... LOL

As always, give it a listen and let us know what you think! Until next week...

Ep. 022 - Bob & Kevin catch up and cover all the random topics

October 31, 2018

We jump back into it this week after both of us have been crazy at work, traveling all over, and just dealing with everything that life has been throwing at the two of us the past couple of weeks. Don't worry, we still talk about twitter and facebook... we even discuss the new facebook video calling thingy??? What the heck is that all about anyway. Not gonna lie, we are both a little out of practice and we even forgot to really start AND end the episode... so, we hope you enjoy this completely raw and barely edited, very special episode. As always, feel free to hit us up on twitter (https://twitter.com/bobandkevinshow) and let us know what you think of the episode. Have a great week!

Ep. 021 - Remote work habits - good, bad and ugly

October 17, 2018

This episode could be title true confessions of a remote worker... but we thought that was a bit too click bait-ish... who are we kidding... We just thought of it as we were uploading the episode and the artwork was already done! Anyway, in this episode, our two courageous hosts give us a glimpse into the real life struggles of remote work in the 21st century. Frightening tales of killer chairs, bare feet, shower schedules and so much more. We really enjoyed this episode, because it is just another shining example of how two close friends can be completely different human beings.

Ep. 020 - Bob & Kevin talk tech with self-produced rockstar and application developer Richard Terris

September 30, 2018

Richard Terris joins B&K from Glassgow to talk about producing an album and things that developers can do to fill their free-time. We talk travel, music, art and a little bit of the new Apple tech that was announced a couple weeks back. I hope you enjoy this one as much as we did recording it. You can check out Richards website at https://wailingrecluse.com/ and have a listen to a live cut from his album at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfRPc2oWmKQ which we also feature in this episode. Enjoy!

EP. 018 - Bob & Kevin go unscripted and just have a chat about a lot of stuff!

August 30, 2018

We had so much fun with this episode! We discussed everything from Dependency Injection, to the Surfacebook 2 and pretty much everything in between. If you are interested in learning Bob's & Kevin's thoughts on many current TV shows and more, this is the episode for you! We talk Westworld, House of Cards, Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley. As usual, please let us know what you want to hear more of, or less of... and be sure to rate us on Apple Podcasts if you can... Thanks!

Ep. 016 - Would Bob & Kevin ban Alex Jones and Infowars from their social network?

August 16, 2018

This was by far our most controversial episode! Bob & Kevin discussed propaganda, brainwashing, cults and more as it relates to when something should be banned from various social outlets and the slippery slope that comes with deciding when someone no longer has the right to spread their message. We also talk about the blurred lines between entertainment and reality and if anyone is really EVER telling the full truth and sharing all the facts. Where the heck are we supposed to get our news these days? Heck is this chart even legit? https://www.facebook.com/vanessa.otero.9619/posts/10155006385626062 - who the hell knows!

Ep. 013 - How trustworthy are product reviews? With special guest Andrew Barta

July 27, 2018

We did eventually get to our main topic of product reviews and how trustworthy we think they are with our special guest, Andrew Barta, but it did take us a while! We had tons of fun talking about many other topics including tech industry job interview controversies, social media audience building techniques and more. Oh, and we also had a few audio issues along the way that made for some entertaining space filling conversations from Bob & Kevin. Be sure to check out Andrew's social media properties after listening!

Ep. 011 - Do you even javascript, bro? - with Special Guest Kyle Weems

July 19, 2018

Yup, you guessed it... we talk about javascript frameworks tonight... but we also talked about a BUNCH of other stuff too! We are joined in this episode by Kyle Weems... who is a javascript developer, but he is so much more than that. He is a fellow podcaster, award winning cartoonist, and just a great all around person! As per our usual, we do some Facebook bashing and if you listen through to the end there is a special segment that was dubbed podcasting after dark... check it out! Find us on all the networks... just search Bob & Kevin Show!

Ep. 002 - Is Facebook bad for you? Leaving Facebook, deleting your profile and more…

May 8, 2018

This episode is actually a throwback to our YouTube show, but the audio stands up pretty well, in our opinion. Kevin is pretty fed up with how Facebook is behaving, and it appears that Bob really just doesn't care... or does he. We explore the various data points that Facebook has collected on each of us and discuss where we think this will and end... or even will it. Take a listen and be sure to follow us on twitter @bobandkevinshow. Also, you can follow us as individuals - Bob is @bootnumlock and Kevin is @KevinGiszewski
